I learned to crochet! Lindsay showed me how.
We made vase holders from an old Rowan magazine. This one’s one round too tall, but you get the idea – now I need a house with a porch so I can hang them for summer dinner parties.
I enjoyed some time off in the Okanagan this week – we went to the old car show ‘n’ shine, saw the baby hawk below the orchard, and went along the Kettle Valley trail to check out the old rock ovens that baked bread for the railway workers. That cute dog above was a friendly promotional ploy to get customers into a cafe. I don’t know what that dye is doing to his self-esteem or his skin, but he was being pretty good about it.
Plus, one bonus photos: different stuff shows up at the car show, including a few cars straight out of Austin Powers.
